About the Rowan Atlee Foundation

One in five families in America are caring for a special needs child. The privilege of caring for these children often comes with enormous obstacles. The emotional, medical, and financial cost can be overwhelming. Many times this requires a family to build or retro-fit a home in order to accommodate the diverse medical, social, and safety needs of the child. We are on a mission to surround these families with not only love and kindness, but with beautiful, customized home solutions to meet their unique needs. Where a house can become not just a home, but a sanctuary for the children and their families. A little kindness can change everything.

TOM & STACY

In 2000 Tom and Stacy were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, A.J. Two years later, A.J. received the diagnosis of Autism. This began their journey to better understanding and equipping themselves to provide A.J. with all the resources and opportunities to thrive in the world around him. When Rob and Crystal discovered there was a desperate need to replace their roof, they knew this was a way they could help. We are honored to have Tom and Stacy’s family as the first project recipient from THERAFFUND.ORG.

JONATHAN & JASPER

This project is for Jonathan and Jasper. We were sent a video of their story and as soon as we got through watching we knew we had to help them.

Jonathan is going to become a dad for the first time by adopting his cousin Jasper. Jasper lost her mom to cancer and her dad was unable to take care of her. Jasper also struggles with certain tasks due to a physical disability that she has struggled with since birth. Jasper has physical therapy and medical costs as well as Jonathan’s home is in desperate need of some repairs. The Rowan Atlee Foundation is really excited to give Jonathan and Jasper a new roof. If you would like to help us help more families donate today.
